The Siemon Cabling System

The Siemon Cabling System provides a standards based structured cabling system for voice, data, image and other information technologies. It is an end to end solution based on 100 ohm Category 5e and 6 UTP, Category 6A UTP and F/UTP, plus Category 7 S/FTP, singlemode and 50/125μm or 62.5/125μm multimode fibre optic cabling. The system complies with all national and international cabling standards.

10G 6A F/UTP combines 10 Gb/s performance with the security, noise immunity and pathway space maximization of a screened cabling system. Siemon’s 10G 6A F/UTP end-to-end solution represents the cutting edge of augmented category 6 cabling. A part of Siemon’s 10G ip™ family, 10 6A F/UTP meets or exceeds all pending standard performance requirements for 10GBase-T, including alien crosstalk parameters. Specifically designed to handle tomorrow’s most advanced and performance critical applications, 10G 6A F/UTP performs as well in secure or high EMI environments as it does in standard office spaces, by virtue of its screened construction.

10G 6A UTP is the augmented Category 6 component of Siemon’s 10Gip Solution and the world’s most advanced UTP system specifically engineered to handle the increasing performance demands of emerging and converging applications like voice over IP, IP video and building automation systems. 10G 6A provides superior performance beyond the category 6 standard at 250 MHz and useable bandwidth to at least 500MHz. It is ideal for delivering the most advanced IP-based applications to the desktop and is guaranteed to support fully the new I.E.E.E 802.3an 10GBase-T protocol.
