This warranty is offered through Cablelines Pronet DLi programme. In order for an installer to become a DLi and offer the Siemon DLi Warranty, they must attend an intensive product-training course. Upon successful completion, the installer is issued with a comprehensive reference manual and a Certificate of Completion. All sites which are registered with the Siemon Company and installed by a DLi using end-to-end Siemon Brand components and cable, are issued with Siemon’s DLi Product Warranty Certificate.

Certification. A Siemon Certificate of Approval is awarded to the DLI Company and a Certificate of Completion to the individual on completion of the one-day training course, signed by a Siemon UK representative. An individual must attend training and the Distributor provides Siemon with completely accurate installation company (DLI) details before certification can be offered. Certification lasts for one year, at which point the Distributor reviews internally and with Siemon, which companies are to remain on the programme. Installation Registration. On completion of installation, a registration form is to be filled in by the DLI via http://dli.cablelines.com. The Distributor will ensure all details are correctly completed, including such information as site details, installer’s details, date of installation, number of outlets and Siemon product part numbers installed. To receive certification, the installer must have direct control over the quality of the installation and must be employed by the DLI Company at the time of registration. Cablelines Pronet logs the details of each end user project and raises a certificate to the end user, copies being provided to the DLI and Siemon.

Products. All the Siemon products to be installed and warranted must be purchased from Cablelines Pronet. Only Siemon products are to be installed end-to-end to be able to qualify for certification, including Siemon connecting hardware in the telecommunications closet (e.g. patch panels), Siemon cable, and Siemon connecting hardware in the work area (e.g. telecommunication outlets); patch cords are optional, but if installed, will also receive a 15-year product warranty.
