Advanced Patching Frame (APF) II

advnaced patching frame The 42U Advanced Patching Frame (APF II) from ADC KRONE has been specially designed for high density cabling installations. Available in three configurations - open frame only, frame with doors or as frame with doors and side panels if more security is required.

The design of the APF II allows excellent management of cabling to and from the panels and active equipment mounted within. Correct cable management is essential in ensuring a cabling system will meet standards performance criteria. The modular frame is supplied complete with two 42U cable trays and ten cable management arms. The cable management arms can be positioned where required on the frame. The APF II also incorporates two vertically mounted bus bars allowing screened panels to be earthed using short earthing straps (not supplied with frame and must be purchased separately).

This 19" modular open frame is capable of accommodating up to 42 x 1U patch panels and/or active equipment. Supplied flat packed in 4 basic easily assembled parts, with 10 x cable management arms.
