What is CopperTen™?

CopperTen is a complete end-to-end cabling system, comprised of cable, connectors, patch cords and panels. It has an amazing ability to overcome insertion loss and alien crosstalk and provides a 10-fold increase in the transmission of large amounts of data as measured by Shannon’s Capacity. It’s extended bandwidth enables a capacity greater than 18-Gigabits per second up to 500 MHz.

CopperTen represents the next generation in structured cabling technology and brings tremendous time and cost savings, as well as increased productivity to installers and end-users alike.

The CopperTen UTP Jack used with CopperTen cable achieves 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over a full 100m. The component compliant Category 6 KM8® jack, together with the introduction of a carbon cap, has Produced a leading edge component necessary to deliver the high performance demanded. The CopperTen UTP jack will fit KM8® adaptors.
