What is CopperTen™?

CopperTen is a complete end-to-end cabling system, comprised of cable, connectors, patch cords and panels. It has an amazing ability to overcome insertion loss and alien crosstalk and provides a 10-fold increase in the transmission of large amounts of data as measured by Shannon’s Capacity. It’s extended bandwidth enables a capacity greater than 18-Gigabits per second up to 500 MHz.

CopperTen represents the next generation in structured cabling technology and brings tremendous time and cost savings, as well as increased productivity to installers and end-users alike

S-STP CopperTen 10GigE Shielded Cable

ADC KRONE S-STP 600 cable is designed for applications up to 600 MHz and delivers transmission performance meeting Category 7 specifications. The slim design and low weight of the cables makes this cable an appealing solution for 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

CopperTen 10GigE Shielded Jack

The KM8® jack adopts the keystone design, the global standard ensuring compatibility with the diverse range of faceplates systems throughout the world. The cable manager holds cable pairs in place up to the termination point. This prevents untwisting and buckling of the conductors thereby guaranteeing performance for every installation. The CopperTen STP jack will fit KM8® adaptors.
